My collegue's grandmother passed away recently. All my collegues and I contributed our condolences. One of my collegues informed him that some of us wanted to pay last respects. But he told my collegue that he did not wish to invite me and a few collegues to his wake as he had a bad grudge against us. The word "invite" is really rude to use.

This news brought shock to the management.
It is my first time to come across something like that. I find it really silly or ... what u think?
well, since it is not mentioned, we dun noe how bad the grudge is. In any case, its personal and wakes are personal. Its entirely his personal perogative as to who to invite to the wake - and we shld respect.
He's already bad enough given the demise of someone close to him, I guess he doesn't want his emotions further affected by your presence bah. Leave it loh. Who wants to go to a wake ?
But then again, by doing / saying this, it does not do your relationship with him any good. Wait until he has settled the funeral and stuff, then maybe meet up to resolve the misunderstanding bah.
For this time, leave it loh.
