Safe to Bring Laptop to Genting Highlands

Don't it's safe to bring it up on several factors and conditions:
a. The climate up there is so different as the moisture might have implications to your exposed metal contacts and terminals.
b. The rooms are often not equiped with in-room safes.
c. Can't trust the housekeeping people in the hotels due to my former experiences.
d. Your purpose of bringing the laptop up on work or leisure?
e. There's very bad network up there and you can't get a constant hookup to the network. -
i don think it safe either.. i don even dare to bring my ipod along..

Genting is used to hold conventions and meetings also leh. -
honestly i don't understand y u gonna lug your laptop up there ? weights training ? Work or play ? if its work, then dun go genting. If its play, theres enough things to occupy yourself there.
as mentioned above, ppl's car can be car-jacked in Malaysia, let alone a small notebook.
Definitely NOT SAFE.

It's not safe, the change in humidity when you bring it back down from genting highlands, will cause condensation to form within your system internals, and you know the rest.

Went to Starbucks and enjoy free WIFI and their powerpoint.

is the connection stable or is it off and on??
