Australia is planning a radical strengthening of immigration laws that would require prospective citizens to take tough English language tests as well as a quiz on history and culture.
Critics have said the plans are patronising and insulting.

There is nothing wrong with studying about the history of the place you are going to.
In fact, if immigrants can't be bothered to learn about our culture or history too, get the hell out of my nation. -
On one hand,howard seems to be instilling fears within the muslim,playing the race game
on the other however,its oso too filter those who enter Aus to improve their living standards,naturally this is deemed wrong.
We all have to agree that being in a nation,u have to have a certain sense of loyalty,and as well as making a part to intergrate with the society.
very good apporach to foster better relationships between the muslim and the native aus.
Its good they start implementing this policy so as to avoid similar scenarios in europe where the muslim community do not feel as one with the christian or whites
