An Israeli commando in anti-hijacking was in 911 plane

  Do you feel it's strange?
  
  I never knew of this little fact. I find it very surprising.
  
  One of the passengers in a 911 plane was a member of Israeli special force, an elite commando unit specializing in counter-terror and anti-hijacking.
  
  
  
  I have a nagging question in my mind.
  
  What is somebody like him doing in there?
  
  Coincidence? He happened to be there in the middle of 5 Arabic terrorists?

  well, whatever happened on the plane will remain mystery, whether or not he tried to stop the hijacking & get killed in the end, we don't know.
  
  don't forget, its 1 vs 5 and the hijackers may have been scattered on different parts of the plane. Moreover, once the hijackers control the cockpit, theres nothing much the rest of the passengers can do - cos the cockpit is like seperated from the rest of the cabin.

  If i am not wrong.. he is an Ex-Commando. not an in-service one.
  
  Even so, the climate at that time or pre-911, it is only normal to comply to hijackers since it was never expected for the planes to be flown into buildings.
