Hey this is S'pore man, get used to it. If not, u can try your, "Bo, ai lim eh"....then u see whether the uncle laugh at your "joke" or throw laksa in your face. -

"laksa jia." then he will diam diam n cook. ai hiam or hum oso must say.
like ur boss say "got meeting", u will ask "when, today or tomolo" rite? wad if he reply u "of coz la, if not next year ah??" then u sure will say "how i noe, u never say clearly ma"
