  i'm in poly n my gpa will nv get me to local Uni...so unisim seems more viable for ppl like me..

  Depends on the course taken. Heard the BEHE course (Bach Electronic w/ hnrs) is going to recognised at the same level as NUS & NTU as per the Washington Accord.

  Reputation takes time to be built up.
  
  And anyway, getting a degree is only the first step. Whether you will manage to find a good job or not also depends on yourself and not solely the degree. If you have a paper from the Ivy League institutions yet your work attitude sucks, don't expect to rise in ranks much.
  
  And erm, money = entrance to SIM maybe. But you can't bribe the people marking your examination scripts.

  Confirm local uni stand out more,but it also depend on your results,the honours you get,the interview,and of course the job you are seeking or rather the course you are taking.
