Dance Floor audtitions was a flop!

I was amused to see that only 100+ entrants bothered to attend the dance floor auditions last sat.
Ironically, Channel 5 actually held a TV advertisement on Sun morning that due to 'overwhelming response', the auditions have been extended?
It seems Mediacorp is well-prepared to mix fact with fiction....and confuse the public that too many people want to participate, rather than let them realise that their purported target of 300 groups was way off...
In any case, i overheard several dancers among the crowd complaining that some groups (no most groups) that went up were a disgrace to the dance community; apart from catwalking across the stage, they did little else.
