Strange Encounter With Begger At Woodlands Interchange

yesterday i was taking the escalator down to the bus interchange at central. When i got down i saw a male begger, in his early 40s. He had lots of one dollar coins in front of where he was sitting. As i pitied him i decided to give him the remaining loose change to him. I GENTLY put $1.50(one gold coin and one fifty cent coin) in front of him and turned to leave. Before i could make any step, he shouted fiercely:''oei! Oei!...I turned around to see what was the matter. The begger glared at me and shoved the money back on my hands VERY aggressively
i was so pai seh and quickly took and walked away. luckily only an auntie was watching in shock. Sp peiseh cos later ppl thought he is my family member and we kicked him out or what or i was trying to be rude or steal his money.. Nowadays, pity people also must be careful

so paiseh... but luckily at that time he did not act too aggressively... so i just gave him another $1 to buy the lottery ticket from him...
when i saw him again in another occasion, he was shouting n throwing $ back to ppl... maybe he just don't like ppl treating him as a begger when he is in fact trying to make a living... -

I remember reading this article somewhere that there was this normal 9-5 worker in some European county who walked along the pathment and became tired. He sat down by the side to rest and remove his hat, but unknowingly, he fell asleep. When he woke up later on, he found lots of coins in his hat and he calcuated that his income as a "begger" by the road side would be more than his salary.

some beggers can earn alot during chinese festival period when all the aunties and uncles suddenly have a conscious.
