Getting a new phone

My dad gonna sign a new contract, I'm thinking of Singtel and M1 at this point
My budget is $500 and below
I want a phone that can last me for a good couple of years because I don't change phones like changing underwears
My current is a 6030
I'm thinking of a Sony Ericsson or Nokia.. I hope the Nokia can be N series -

You can trade in all the phones you want, just as long as they come with a charger. I recommand K800i , it's a darn good phone at least for me. N73's price dropping , that is worth considering too. Forget about N70.

buying a new phone will depends on your requirements isn't it? Every one will suggest their own preferred brand and model..

Depend on what function you need.
which are your priority on choice.
currently, there are a lot of phone under your 500 dollar budget.
if you looking for good sound, look for sony model.
if you wants more function and easy usage, then go for nokia model. -
