What irritates me is that I order my food in dialects, and I get replies in Mandarin. When I conformed and spoke Mandarin, they friggin gets my orders wrong! Soup nooldes becomes dry noodles!! IRRITATING!
Doesn't 'soup' and 'dry' in Mandarin sound almost the same, and especially when the coffeshop is a little noisey? Crap!
Hokkien or Cantonese is more obviously different between dry and wet noodles!
