My respected mentor, Mr Lee

I was taking a walk in my old neighbourhood when that nostalgic feeling rush through my adrealine. Its been a long time since I went back to the RC, where I was a good amicable servant for 5 good years. It was a great place to keep adolescent off the streets without the suffocation of fun. In fact thats where my friend and I had our best part of our lifes.
The surrounding had changed but like before, aunties are still rushing to the market and people rushing for work. I cut a solitary figure as I stand by the door way absorbing the feeling once more. It was great to be back, I thought. A tap on my shoulder wakes me up from my stupor. It was my mentor, Mr Lee.
" Hey Mr Lee" I stand as neat as possible careful with my posture thinking how Mr lee used to punish us back then. Its the last thing I want for my age. Of course he's not going to do that but its the kind of thing you will do when you are facing someone with authority and power. Though old now, he still carry that sort of pull. He is the most respected mentor I ever had.
" Why are you here" he said.
" Its been a long time and I thought maybe I should come and take a look after so many years" I replied.
" You know I hate quitters, don't you" he purred. I cringed as I struggled for words but at the same time I thought maybe its better to be quiet less I invite any deframation suit coming my way. Life has been good since I left and I had no wish to disrupt any misadventure to my present life now by saying something wrong.
" Its alright, you wanna come in for a drink"? he continued.
I was ushered inside and at that instance all the memories flowed back. Its nice to be back home. Changes can be seen all round and though its nice on the surface, I can see hidden rubbish beneath. It was quite a disturbance sight when you realised how much fund RC had back in the past compared to the present. Yet, when my friend and I was in the reign with little funds, the place look so much better even without the glitter of the present.
We had a good time together and talked about everything(almost). I noted that a few rules had since changed. Any purchase in the past had to get approval by a panel of committee but that was scrapped. Somehow, it isn't correct but knowing Mr Lee, his words are final and I had no wish to trigger anything when I am no longer in the circle.
Time files and it was time for me to go. I may have missed out a lot by being a quitter but when the door finally shut, I feel my pace lighten and the mood lifted. I starts to hear the birds chirping, the trees swayed when carress by the wind. I take out my cell phone and called to see if there's a flight to london tonight. I decided to cut short my trip. -

I only remember the birds were chirping and something caressed the trees.
If I were him, I would write 'the smooth soft afternoon breeze caress my face, the ocean wave rolls in unison, and the stars were shining like a twinkle twinkle little stars'
Or something like that.
But never mind lah, chirping birds is enough also. -
