Anyone using Shure's earphones?
I'm tempted to buy the E3c earphones, but it's really costly. Wondering if anyone here knows of a better price or has staff discount. -

Zzz spend so much for an earphone not worth it, an average earphone or high quality de no matter what all have max lifespan of 2 years so there no difference between high quality and low quality earphone

Got la, when you put it in your ear you will feel the difference. Mobile phone also got lifespan of 2 years, but why some people want to buy better ones

I using Etymotics ER6i for a year liaoz. I love it! Matches my ipod. About 200 nia.

I have a pair of Shure E2c. Great isolation except for a bloated bass. So for portables, I'm currently using an AKG K81DJ, which sounds more refined, with a strong bass without the muddy sound. It has a general improvement as compared to my E2c across all frequencies other than the highs.
For home use, my Sennheiser HD555 wins. -

Sennheiser is pretty gd too..
using sony mdr series for the past 3yrs for my mp3 player.. still gd enuff for me -
When I was your age I use to spend big bucks on earphones also, now I'm older, I feel very duh thinking why I spent so much money on such stuff in those days.

Hmm no idea man... Just want something that feels good in my ear and delivers great sound. Like they said, once you try their Exc series, you won't settle for anything less. Damn.
