After Bush fired Powell, Powell went to see Bush the next day, and Bush didn't even realize why Powell was there to see him. (Powell went there for the exit interview, a formality.) Powell used that opportunity to give his final warning to Bush over the Iraq War, and Bush just did not care and brushed aside Powell's advice.
