Adventure racing question

How much water is needed for a 5-day race?
The weather is much like Singapore, hot and humid.
Any other considerations? -
Your t shirt charfing at your nipples and making them bleed.
Your bag straps doing the same to your shoulders and waist. -
Car racing, lots of water.

Frozen 100 plus.
helped out a friend who was doing the standard chartered marathon.
the nite before, i froze all 2 cans of 100 plus as well as the weiner energy pack.
next morning, pass to the him. he was most appreciative cos he got a lot of envy stares as he was drinking them slowly towards the end of the run where people can still hear the ice hitting the cans as he shake the can.
Another thing on frozen stuffs.
A rider, frozed a pad of those gel/water filled seat pads in his freezer and used it on his riding seat.
His butt was kept cool all the way from Singapore to Thailand. -
And Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo is all you need.
Its great for soaking, washing clothes as well as your body.
Deep sea divers soak their neopane suits in pails of water with baby shampoo so their suits can come up to dry baby fresh. -
Females. Skip the underwire bra. Just bring bikinis!

you need at least 2 litres a day in a mild climate....for a hot climate and depending on how much you exert yourself, i don't think 25 litres is too much for 5 days. -

Anyway, I doubt we can have any forms of transportation except walking and cycling. -

Here's what I found out from travelling.
Crocs Shoes, they work better then normal sports shoes and are great for walking, some light jogging, swimming and bathing.
Bikini tops, great for sleeping in as they dont have wires, great for when you can't shower or dont want to shower in the nude.
Frozen can drinks.
And those special water bottle with in-built/removable filters. Great for when you have no access to tap water. -
For those on a budget.
Army Market on the 2nd floor of Beach Road Market.
Great for finding army backpaks. But remember to buy a pair of those strap wraps. Ask the aunties and uncles there and they will be able to understand.
Those strap wraps are basically cushions so that the backpack straps wont charff your shoulder skins.
The water bottles with filters are harder to find, try those specialised backpacking sports shop. You will find yourself being able to lug around less, especially on foot & bicycle adventure trips. Trust me, they are costly, but a true life saver when you can confirm whether the water is safe to drink. Put the water in the water bottle, squirt them out onto a tin bowl (can buy at army market) and cook the river water before drinking.
And bring along lighters & matchsticks kept in ziplock bag. Trust me. you will need it. -
Sigh....here's my list of essentials:
1) Water bottle with filters
2) Lighters & match sticks
3) Wet Wipes
4) Crocs Shoes
5) Hiking Shoes, not sports shoes.
6) tube of face scrub, that doubles as soap
7) ultra thin sleeping bag roll/big piece of thick sarong with one side sewn shut. (it functions as a sleep bag, blanket and coverings for your body)
Insect repellent
9) Sun Block
10) Sunglass & spare glasses (if you wear contacts)
11) a special kinda bandana, buy from army market unit 1717 (ask Tina, she knows) It functions as a hair scrunchies for females, a neck warmer to keep out mosquitos and even a bandage/sling for emergencies.
12) Army style square tin bowl for cooking
13) ziplock bags
14) army backpak
15) compass
16) 2 torchlight (one small, one big)
17) 2 mid size face towels only
