Does anyone of you hear this?

  Jialat lo! For the past few months I keep on hearing the 'do-do-doo' sound that WindowsLive/MSN Messenger makes when people message you, even when theres no one talk to me I still occassionally hear the alert sounds, like once every 30 minutes...is this a new mental disorder associated with overdose of instant messenging?

  problem is, THE SOUNDS ARE NOT REAL! they're in my head!

  There is this set as away after x mins, if the user on the other end were to just move his mouse, it'll go into online mode on your msn, and then you can hear that stupid sound.

  no no, im imagining the sounds, i keep on hearing them even when they're not there, sometimes im in the toilet i hear the sounds, soft and distant. how to cure this problem?

  Change the MSN alert sound to a rock music. Then your head will keep remembering the rock music alerts.

  Go to Windows Live Messenger 8.0
  
  Tools-> Option-> Alerts and sounds.
  
  Look at the Windows Live Messenger Events. Then select "New instant message" and click browse. Change your sounds. (Note, the sound must be in WAV format)

  one v strange thing i heard last night..
  
  i was at citylink.. and when i walk past a girl, i heard dogs barking.
  
  i tot it's coming from hmv, but no leh.
  
  after walking a distance away again, i hear it again. and that girl in pink was behind me. very strange lor. dun sound like ringtone. bcos it kept barking non stop.
