Then walked through poor army days with their boyfriends, stood by them throughout the two years even though the guys had little book out time and whenever it's book out time, the guys would prob be sleeping at home?
And then when they finally went out to work, & the guy bought a car... The girl would be seen as," You see... girls want cars..."
There are many cases where by what you see is not what it seems..
And also, haven't you heard of how men got cheated and dumped by foreign brides?
In this world, there are always a bright & dark side in everything... Your remarks of sg girls is not fair coz many of us are loving our bf with our hearts since the day they had NOTHING.
Anyway, when you say that we are materialistic & expect too much, (when in fact what most of us ask for is stabilty).... May i say you are no way better. You say we want your money, how about you? You expect nothing from us? How about good sex, can do housework, can bring some money home help to suport home...?
It is normal to have expectations. Which girl doesn't want a Prince Charming with everything. But truth is, in reality, most sg girls go for love. Trust me.
Actually when having a partner, it's not what you can get out of that person, what he/she can do for you... But what you can offer him/her. But very often, we would think the other way round... (me guilty of this at times too...

Greedy Eastern materialism combined with a bad Western attitude makes Singapore girls singularly unappealing to men and this could ultimately spell disaster for the small island nation. The feminists will, no doubt, accuse these men of exploiting foreign women but, when you're looking to start a family, the last thing you need is a wife who is greedy, materialistic and selfish.
It would be easy to write Singapore off as a special case but the birth rate has fallen to similarly unsustainable levels in most European countries for precisely the same reasons.
Unless more foreign brides are found to fill the gap, it won't be long before Western civilisation disappears up it's own arse.
Wah rao please, it's like that everywhere in the world. Woman... when love is not involved, they go for the one with the most cash. Man... when love is not involved, they go for the best physical attributes.

Bravo... I still believe there are good girls around.. But talking about the quality of the girls.. I think maybe becos of the weather thats why. Seriously girls in taiwan looks better due to the weather.. In terms of complexion. Even my gf is a half malaysian haha... Becos Singapore girls say i'm a poor NSF cannot afford her stability and not old enough.
I think i admired those girls who go thru the thick and thin with their bf thru NSF. You got my Salute!!!!! Sometimes look is not the main factor but is the heart that counts

When both the local guys and the foreign guys are singing just about the same tune, maybe you ladies ought to be just that little bit more attentive. The thing also is that the mature women who have been through a few relationships actually confess to being what has been complained of.
