I go to alot of country and found Singapore is very nice country actually... people still complain this and complain that... Singapore is so nice lio sitll complain... ANyway I got a question hor... If one day Singapore really managed to conquer Johore... What will happened? I think Johore will become a very nice place lor.. Singapore sure can develop Johore into another megacity just like newyork and manhattan....

i think Johor will be our industrial hinterland and Singapore will be the financial and admin hub - just like HK and China.
Agriculture & heavy industries will be based in Johor and yes, our military training grounds will be there ...wow large areas of land for us to ride our tanks with ....

I rather Singapore come to some form of financial arrangement to buy Batam and Bintan. Like that will be quite fun. ^^

think Johor better, strategically it makes more sense. Buy Johor, then reclaim the straits of Johor away - and then you control the vital passing point for straits of malacca and you literally have Malaysia by its balls.
Batam & Bintan not so attractive because they are two seperate islands and the distance makes administration abit more difficult. -
Ever considered a conquered Johor might instigate some jihad n we NSman get bogged down by guerilla warfare.. i'll rather maintain the status quo. Let Johor rot with the carcass of the scenic bridge.

Why? Because there will be so many criminals being caught there won't be enough room in Changi!
With the size of JB, it's easy to run after a crime. And our Police force and gov will be truly tested in their efficiency given the size of Johore!
And even with the size of Johore and all that road-space, I believe Road Tax wukk still be high! Because our government will demand for even higher pay citing a larger country to take care of!!!!
