Ja, I agree with your observation, thread starter.
I believe it has to do with small gene pool, and small land size.
Small gene pool makes everybody looks the same, and with less chance of acquiring more physical/ facial characteristics.
Meanwhile the small land size makes sports and outdoor activities, and average eyesight range, to be limited.
This is worsened with service-sector intensive economy and extensive hours in work and study.
If you dont believe me, you can find more info on Iceland. The gene pool is small that everybody looks the same. Also, you can read on Goldfish theory. In a small aquarium, goldfish is small, but in a big aquarium, they get bigger.
