someone mentioned that usually serial killers start with animals and progress to humans. So should this be taken into consideration when passing the sentence?
Animal's life is also a life. But I hope we do not see the ST reporting serial killings of old people, young kids and etc, then to find that its done by this person who used to lynch cats as a hobby - and start asking why didn't we put him in jail longer or send this person to the facilities to correct his mental state in the first place... -

seriously, these abusers are sick!
these animals are so innocent and helpless, yet they are tortured barbarically for no apparent reason. -
i hope the sentence will be harsher for such a crime. And hopefully the cat killer gets back what he deserved.
