Suggestions for travel agents

  Planning a trip to hop around hk/japan over the period of december.
  
  Does anyone have any recommended tour agents? or any that i should avoid?

  I would recommend Trade Wind.. Book with them when I went Japan this yr Apr... Their services are gd, hotels/food are also better... although they are more expensive than others.. As for Chan Brother... I dun like.. once bitten, twice shy. have bad experience with them last yr when i went taiwan..

  try the internet and look for agents that are based in that country so you won't need to pay more

  Most importantly, try not to go in big groups exceeding 20 people.
  
  And judge your tour guide from start... and have your intinerary in black and white.
  
  Many tour guides will veer off your itinerary and bring you to places he claims are nicer than those in the intinerary.
  
  While offering you to go there, he will use peer pressure to make you pay extra.
