Now look, that's no law stating being fat is a crime, don't come here and complain all the way. It won't help. As far as I agree some fat people are inconsiderate, not all are. What most Singaporeans are good at doing is generalise things.
If you say there are other empty seats, maybe blame it on your luck that the guy chose to sit beside you. Too bad, either you move, or bear with it. Unless you want to choose to put your bag on the other seat, which are common for students to do.
Now, when there's sweaty students (read: NOT fat) sitting beside me after their games, all I can do is to bear with it.
You can say what you want, because I still have my self esteem. I do not need to go around degenerating other people to make myself feel good.
I won't blame if you have not gone through army because it will teach you what is the meaning of "bear with it". If you had, I wonder how you can go through your 2 years odd of NSF life.
Oh last thing... please do your paragraphing properly. No matter where you study it's an important asset... -

But well, this part was equally bad as well. At the next stop, someone just in front of me got off her seat and alighted. I didn't take the seat because (naturally) I expected that everyone else in the train would've let the pregnant lady take it, and I think she thought so too. But just before she reached, a 30+ year old man took the seat. Okay so maybe he was a little bit plump, but undoubtly that woman needed the seat more than I did.
I was almost about to scold him, especially because he was right in front of me and kept looking at me, but he noticed that my bag was unzipped, and told me with a very pleasant smile on his face, which made me reconsider whether to scold him or not. I didn't in the end.
About another 2 stops later, the elderly woman got off, returned the seat to the pregnant lady and thanked her before alighting from the train.
Out of the 18 seats on both sides, 15 of the people sitting on them were healthy enough to stand without any problems. Yet it took a pregnant lady to give her seat up to someone else who needed the seat as much as she did? Worst yet, someone can even steal a seat from the pregnant lady AFTER she gracefully gave her seat up to the elderly woman. Worst still, he can notice that my bag is unzipped, but he can't see a pregnant lady just about 2 metres away from him. Honestly, I can't believe those people sitting on the seats had no shame at all. Selfish little assholes who only think about themselves and can't be bothered to see what's going on around them.

Oh and, I was down at Lavander again this afternoon, and coincidentally I happened to bump into the same guy in front of the ICA building, who was giving out fliers. I approached him to talk about the incident on Friday, and he recognized me almost immedietly. I asked him if he knew there was a pregnant lady onboard who was standing, and he told me he knew. When I asked him why didn't he give his seat up to her, well he just replied that "he felt that it was rather 'paiseh' ", and that "other people were closer to her, so they should've given her their seat instead of me". I just said briefly that someone ought take the initiative, smiled at him, and walked off. -
