Well, George Lim the author of that complaint letter, should cancel his Cable TV or unplug his TV connection and just watch his own selected VCD or DVD movies.
What sex? What violence?
If the authorities censor anymore of any movie deemed violent, sexy or otherwise UN-WHOLESOME, what they hell will people be paying $9 for in a cinema or even the stupid TV License Fee?? To watch cut movies and programs? -

Another of those so-called learned 'sages' who feel the current crop of movies are beneath contempt.
Why am i not surprised that he would implore the govt to do something about it? If he doesn't like it, stay at home. Period.
What a whiner....sometimes i really wonder whether the articles published by ST forum are just to invite the laughing public to 'bite back' by posting a response to such a knee-jerk complaint. -

In that movie, I have not counted even one single french kiss, much less any sex scene.
I have not counted any 'F' expletives as well. Zero.
It is very refreshing.
Sometimes it's true sex and violence sell. But it's also true watching those movies will affect your Chi.
I think the ST forum writer is not a high-horse rider, but an enviromental activist, who only wishes to repurify the air from pollution.

true there are some good shows out there that promote good value but rather limited,maybe less than 5 per year.
See how he can keep his theatre going without going bankrupt when only a certain segment of people are interested in these movie in the first place
