If you've got automatic watches, I would suggest that you get a watch winder:
I picked this one up for US$30 off eBay, although the shipping from Canada set me back US$120. Still, it's one of the cheapest watch winder you can buy and it works just fine for me.
If you've only got quartz watches, takashimaya does have a few watch cases for about S$80 IIRC. -

I think it was about $80, about 2 years ago - I can't remember which floor it was on, but they have it near the escalators. I don't use it anymore because I switch between autos over the week and the winder keeps them going.

If you see the photo in my first post, the round bases that the watches are mounted on turn a couple of times every few minutes, keeping the watches wound. When it's time to change to another watch, i can just pick it up and wear it without having to wind it and reset the time. -

rolex too comercialised -
It's actually a Sea Dweller, not a GMT or Sub. In any case, I think Omega's a lot more commercialised than Rolex, and something like a Patek would never survive the way I wear watches, so I stick with Rolex as a tough and reasonably respectable brand.
That said, the black-and-white dial chrono is a Tudor 79170. I got that instead of a Daytona because it's got a date window and a rotatble bezel, which I find much more useful than the daytona's techymetric scale.
