why taiwan's LCD Monitor so strong ???

  K my mistake.
  
  This is what i found out..
  
  they are established in Taiwan. but since their establishment, they bought numerous German techonological companies and renamed them Acer rather than retaining their old name.
  
  But acer during earlier years would like to make an impression they are a german company..
  
  i guess this is where i was wrong.

  Hmm, i didnt realise BenQ is a Taiwan company, and it acquired Siemens, a German company

  Taiwan LCD Monitor is strong becos Taiwan choose to be independent of China, thats why. If Taiwan is now part of China, the monitors will be rebranded with Cherry, Banana, Orange or whatever their limited English can come up with and the monitors will be ridiculed throughout the world.

  To make things worse.. 2 weeks ago, BenQ announced they will cut off funding to BenQ Siemens Germany and make them run on their own.
  
  BenQ Siemens Germany immediately filed for bankruptcy protectino.
  
  There goes my resale value of my BenQ fone.

  i use either LG or Samsung Monitor wor... dunno about acer monitors though, i've seen some viewsonic and i dun like its design overall..

  I know that 80% of motherboard world wide are from taiwan and they design the board themselves. MB nowadays has 4 layer or more.
  
  And also lots of memories product are from taiwan.... even if not from taiwan they are taiwan firm which setup manufacturing plan in china. Before Korea LG and Samsung mass produce memory products, Taiwan used to be the top memory maker also.
  
  Before PC boom, taiwan used to be the top autoparts maker beside Japan in Asia.... they got lots of aftermarket parts either chiong one or aftermarket one.... then only thailand started to produce and lately indonesia and china.
  
  I think taiwan lcd monitor is more limited to PC bah...., cos TV lcd still japan and korea are better.
