Kudos to the ah bengs

  I was studying overnight at mac on fri night/sat morning with some friends when a group of ah bengs came in at around 4am. They came in and sit a couple of tables away from us. Then, one guy from the group called the rest to find other seats away from us and suggested outside the mac so as not to disturb us. The guy actually said, "Eh, zhe dao wu lang ta chey, mai cha yi lang, go*(dunno how to spell) wa how zou." This one act truly shocked and touched me at the same time. Although not expecting them to li siao us or what, but the fact that they being this considerable, that I don't think can expect from many Singaporeans, is commendable. Once again, kudos to them.

  some ah beng are good too leh. they are humble and feel inferior in front of educated. but some educated look down on them!
