Why Singapore no halloween celebrations ar?

just wondering. I know there's some people wearing wacky costumes in nightclubs during halloween but it's not practised anywhere else in sg. Why ar? Is Halloween too americanized or what?
but wouldn't life be more exciting if the whole singapore can dress up scary and knock on neighbour's door for trick or treat?

I know halloween over liao.
what I meant is that, when halloween comes, it would be more interesting if it's celebrated in our hdb neighbourhood (not just private parties).
Ur neighbour knock on yr door, dressed up like sadako, then give u candy. Fun ma.

SINGAPORE HAS .. and it is called the 7th month where we offer candy and offerings to our "good buddies"

Imagine if Sg celebrates Halloween as a part of our culture and halloween falls on the 7th month's thursday haha!! Your friends come dressed like a pontinak and go to your house and say: Trick or Treat! in the middle of the night, wont it freak you out

All Saints' (Hallows') Day falls on the next day, and it's celebrated by the Catholic population.
The 2 days are related, in case you didn't know. -
