im in love with this girl for nearly 1 year now.. yesterday during the first day of raya, her cousin from canada.. actually the parents of that guy from canada.. called and spoke to her grandma and they wish to CLOSEN UP THE FAMILY TIES.. it means they want to matchmake my gf to that cousin of hers.
what am i to do ? furthermore, her parents are aware that we've been seeing each other for months now and they know we're one.
what should i do ? do you guys know what it feels like to be in this QUEUE and then somebody cuts right thru.. with the intention of marrying your gf ?????? im lost and confused .. !! give opinions or comments or whatever!!.. -

In this modern days nth can be force if the other party dont want...i'm sure by the time your gf wil turn 21 years old and she can have the right to make the decision?

Closing up the family tie is not good. If someone that is too related in blood line get together your descendant sure got defection one. It has been proved by doctors. So is not good also. Tell your girlfriend to tell the mother this loh

yeaps. its discouraged in islam aniway.. that a muslim is discouraged from marrying his or her own cousin.. cause at the beginning.. things might seem close.. then suddenly.. when things go bad.. divorce happens.. and the relative are embarassed of each other.
