I was in shock, and was quite reluctant to get off as I wanted to clarify what was so scandalous abt his putting his arm around me.
I'm still quite mad at her, cos I don't understand what caused her to fly off the handle like that. I wanted to give her a piece of my mind, but I guess its not worth my effort.
What do u guys think? Were we in the wrong? I just feel that she shouldn't have gotten away with this, since she threw a tantrum and we just let her get away with it. She was still yelling stuff at us after we left the bus... The rest of the passengers were giving her weird looks though...Don't know what to think now... -

While waiting for the queue, they snickered over some jokes and playfully hit each other.
Then suddenly this chinese uncle sitting behind them stood up and said "Why you so cheap, huh, girl? U chinese why Indian boyfriend? Wan to do this kind things go room!" and the chinese auntie companion beside him added, "y-yah! Ch-ch-cheap! U cheap!" (this is exactly how my sis related the incident to me)
My sis was bewildered and tried to reason (1st time she'd witnessed outright racism), but her friend just stood up and talked back to the old uncle (no rude words). The uncle started shouting despite security trying to calm him.. when the uncle threw a few punches at my sis's friend, security stepped in and hauled the fella out. Then one of the security guards (who happened to be Malay) said "I heard what happened. We know u're not in the wrong. Sorry, these kind of things are rare but still happens sometimes."
