What The Hell Is Wrong With Singnet

I hate singnet to the core it sucks big time.When I signed up,the man told me that I would be getting dedicated surfing speeds but 3 months later the speed was so unbearably slow so I called them up and they fixed it,It worked only for 2 weeks.Are they not breaching the contract?Even last time on 56K plan, Singnet only delivered 28.8 to me while when I changed to Starhub,The speed was really 56K.I swear I will never sign up for any more singnet plans after my current contract ends, I will be going directly and straight to starhub.

Complain so much no use.
It depends on where you live. The area I live, Singnet speeds are fast, because not a lot signed up for it. In effect, I got a dedicated line. Sometimes, it exceeds the 512K that I'm expecting.
Starhub lags very much in my area. -

Singnet sucks that is it I will never sign up for singnet every again.Even got people write in so many times to the forum they still never do anything about it.So far starhub no complaints.

starhub share the pipe... if u r leaving an 30 story flat, and those ppl r using starhub, and r online together, u will also hav the same problem 2 my fren...and u will be here complaining again....
Both they hav their pro and cons....well i am a singnet user for more then 5yr Plus plus, from 56k - 512- 1500 - 3500...all are ok for me leh...once in the blue room i hav slow connection..... -

Starhub is considering to have a network of their own, not leasing from Singtel to provide better services. Not sure when it will come true though... I'm still waiting for it, then I will switch over to Starhub.

u can quicken ur Internet Speeds by changing ur D.N.S to 4.2.2.2 this should work, it worked for me.

if you change it to this address, chances are you'll get alot of spam, get redirected to phising site and pop-ups. -
Both Red pipe & Green pipe, sometimes good.... sometimes Bad.
I remember using Green pipe and every fri eveing till end of the weekends, the speed is as low as normal dial up.......got SO fed-up that i change to red pipe after contact over.... got free IBM notebook too.....
Still got problem with Red pipe. Sometime disconnect on its own. But over all, speed is better and more 'even'.... -
Then DNS server 208.X.X.X how? 'Cos neighbour one is Starhub, I am getting Starhub also...
Seems pretty fast. -

THIS IS IT.SINGTEL GOT ME SO WORKED UP I PUNCHED THE MODEM UNTIL IT WAS SORT OF DENTED.BLOODY SINGNET PAY SO MUCH YET I GET THIS KIND OF SHIT SERVICE.IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE 1.5MBPS NOT 28.8KBPS.BLOODY HELL TOMORROW I WILL CALL UP THE OFFICE AND DENY TALKING TO ANY PR OFFICERS I WANT TO TALK TO THE MANAGER DIRECTLY.STRAIGHT.I WANT TO TERMINATE MY CONTRACT AND I AM NOT GOING TO LISTEN TO THEIR NONSENSE ABOUT WHAT BREACH OF CONTRACT AS THEY BROKE IT FIRST.
BTW I NEVER OWN SINGNET A SINGLE CENT I ALWAYS PAY ON TIME.HERE ARE SOME PICS OF MY HAND AFTER I PUNCHED THE BLOODY MODEM OUT OF FRUSTRATION IF I REALLY GAVE IT ALL THE MODEM WOULD HAVE BROKEN INTO 2.
