  Let's say you're right in saying most guys like white.
  
  However, that doesn't mean most guys like Vanilla.
  
  People eat Vanilla flavoured food not because it is white.
  Because of it's taste.
  
  Likewise, people who like white tint/colors may not like vanilla.
  They like white because of their personal aesthetic value.
  Again, taste is also depends on personal aesthetic value
