u need to soft mod. most people can't do it.
u need sata cable
a way to open ur xbox 360 unbroken.
u must understand command prompt and know how to use lots of command.
some net working skill. then only u have a chance to soft mod it.
and dont think i do the service (its illegal). but i can help u, pm me. -

there's this shop in yishun central 1 with a sign that reads "Xbox 360 upgrade"..hmm...i'm pretty sure it means modifications...

i suggest you all dun mod it too early until it is proven to work.
PS2s went thru many revisions that those upgrading it do not fully understand the changes. In the end they spoil the consoles, consoles upgraded too early realised that the chip will not work with later games.
nevertheless, the good thing of upgrading early is that you may take advantage any "oversight" where the manufacturers failed to see.
eg. PS2 SCPH 390001 was too easy to upgrade and sony later had to modify it but those who got 390001 got their PS2 to work with any version of the games. -

only trust shop like harvey norman, courts and high quality shop like it.
if you go CON shop(like ahbeng shop), you think u smart and can get it cheaper then others, well this is the thing that can happen to u:
1. fake control, (button very easy to spoil, the next thing you do is post here

2. fake rca cable (yellow,red and white)
3.fake power adapter ( this is very important, many defect had been report)
4. they may had open open ur set and voided your warranty, without you
relise it when you buy. there is seal sticker at the back of the console,
do look out for it when ur buying it.
5. MAYBE, in my expirience of the console, the older set have weak dvd
protection, causing hackers to mod the drive easily without mod chips.
microsoft will update the dvd drive and make it hard for us to mod it.
(this is just for info)
