Starts a communications with friends

Everyday I go to school. I sit down and do my own things.
I was thinking if I can starts my communication with my friends, since we been classmates for about almost a year in Institute?
I really don't know what to say to them. In school I was quiet. Only mix with the same type as me and that it.
Sometimes I don't mix with them consider outcast. I don't why I am like that, Is there anything I can do?

What type are you and what type are your class..? Me even worse... I 2 years still loner in my class... I usually hang out with my friends from different classes... But now all gone
... I the type very relax, hang out at lib and watch movies with my friends... but my class type is super rich, super model and super connections... very the opposite... top it all off, my class is 99% girls... there are very little common grounds for talking... -

My type is like to study. My class is very different they make noises in class, and not least we only do homework together, but seldom talked. In a group? But its hard to approach them when in group when you are by youself approaching its not that easy for me.
