to approach a girl, step 1 make eye contact, break eyecontact.
step two: make eye contact again, but hold it for 2-3 secs, try to smile during eye contact.
step 3: approach from a slight angle, not front on, as it is overwhelming for girls.

to approach another man, step 1: BIG SMILE
step2: say HI and give a good firm handshake! add a arm slap with your free hand to increase "buddiness". -
last time i mentioned this in another post...
If you go western countries and say "Hi! How's it going?" to a stranger you can have a nice conversation...
But if you go Singapore and say "Hi! Good day, isnt it?" to a stranger, for example, an Ah Beng, you get this reply, "Chee Bye la! I whack you upside down then see if you still good day or not!" -
