I dont know, I think you can try substitute the mother's milk with cow milk. Try with fresh plain cow milk. I mean from grocery store. Choose the most basic type. -

i know...let them drink warm milk mixed with those dog food. the milk are not those that we human drink. it's for puppies one.
as for sleep.. just let them sleep whereever they want loh if can. they don't need blanket la... but maybe some cushion or what for them -
oh yah the milk are in powder form one.. must mix with warm water.

Puppies are born in batches so if it's just 1 puppy, kindly put a few hot water bottles to imitate its siblings in the playpen.
