Can Tea Expire?

  Hallo,
  
  Can tea expire after a long time?
  
  Im about to apply some tea bags for my eyes, but I think the tea bags are abit old, and Im not sure if they smell right. Is it still ok to use them?

  Lipton tea bags. Peppermint herbal infusion, caffeine free.
  
  I just thought they smell abit not right. But Im not drinking them, just will put them wet on my eyes. They are soaking in a bowl of water now.

  Technically, hydrated teabags are safe to use if there's nothing growing on them.

  Thanks, I just finished, I have no idea whether I succeeded in reducing my dark circles. Maybe I should try it many times.

  But what about honey like... macadamia honey, tea tree honey, ginger honey, etc etc?
  
  I had a boxful of honey from a trip to Oz and there was this expiry date... I found them in my cupboard three years later and thought they had spoilt so I dumped them all.

  As far as I know, tea have expiry date. Esp loose chinese tea leaves.. But if they are in air tight container, probably can last longer. But if they have been lying around for years.. then can throw them away la.
  
  As for tea bags.. I guess putting them on the eyes shld be okay.. better than drinking them into ur body..
