  Hmm... any of u here who are chinese and those not christian,
  just ROM and didn't go through traditional wedding??
  
  any of the above case just organise a buffet.. and that it?
  
  Me want ROM.. but want to skip traditional wedding.

  If they are fine, then just ROM will do...

  ya if both side ok, your wife ok than no problem loh.
  
  but then u cheapo, marriage is once in a life time thing. have some respect for your wife-to-be! give her a beautiful wedding. give her a comfortable and stable life. if not, there is no reason why you guys should be getting married.

  my gf only held a buffet and ROM in a country club. tats it. simple but not very grand though.
  but end of the day, if both parties are fine, then shdnt be a big pro.
  traditional wedding can be a chore but its an enjoyment.

  To have a wedding requires lots of plannings, preparations and arrangements... Especially in the monetary part...
  
  Me agree the fact that we should have a memorable wedding, but not to the extend of getting into debts...
