My god damn Philips earphone one side spoil!!! same as the 100 earphones before that which all spoilt one side! WTF MAN
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???? i coil the earphones around the mp3 player when not in use, put in my bag. Normally put mp3 player in pocket while listening. My earphones never last mroe than 3 months!!! similanjiao man!!!!!!! ARGHH

Don't buy Sony ones also. The wire rubber coating gets deformed and worn out very very easily.

Get a better quality earphone like those from Shure, Etymotics, Westone or Ultimate Ears.
If you want cheaper, get the Koss KSC-75s for $15 at Hung Brothers, SLS. Read www.head-fi.org for more headphone-related information.
By the way, the Koss is a good buy, if you post in head-fi for recommendations, most of the time the insiders there will recommend it. -

An alternative is Jaben Electronics at Adelphi, the big shopping mall beside Funan. Jaben sells very high end audio gear, if you are new to this you can ask the nice uncle there for advice. He's a very friendly and approachable guy. -

They're ugly as hell, but it is the best sounding <$100 headphones available.

do u listen to it while sleepin? if u are then aiyoo... of course will spoil, cause all the pressure lie on one side...
u can use sanyo head phone ba, they are reliable ( lasts about 2 years and a half, but it could be longer if not for my sis, using force to pull the headphones) -
panasonic oso not bad, sound bass quite good too.

i'm using creative and i must tell you this, ipod earphone is like crap. After 2 or 3 mths, dun have bass anymore. So if you buy an ipod, dun use the earphone becos it sucks, go get a better earphone.

Me's been using Audio Technic earphones for the last six years liao... The bass and tremble are still very defined through the earphones... Cost around $19 to $60, depending on your fidelity requirements...
