  Newton's contribution will be made by someone sooner or later. Just that Newton made it earlier.
  
  Of course, you can say the same for Einstein's contribution. Sooner or later someone will make the same theory Einstein has made but its quite complex even by modern terms so maybe without Einstein, the world now would still be missing out some theorem and equations that Einstein have formed.
