Yesterday I Arrived At Changi. I Saw Free Internet
#$%^&*
Yesterday I touched down at Changi.
Nice carpet, a few new stuff, and I notice there is free internet.
I didnt use the internet, because Im wary of using public computers.
But it's really nice to see computers laying there and can be used by for free for internet. This is good.
I hope the government of Singapore will provide free internet corners all across the country, not just in the airport.
This will help bridge the digital divide and really bring internet as an infrastructure accessible to all the people.
Actually it can be a little like public libraries, another success story in Singapore. Here in Singapore, there are many excellent public libraries and they are a great resource for the people.
If a similar move is implemented to bring internet closer to the people, I feel it will be very beneficial, because internet is the new resource of the 21st century.
Like Mr Muhammad Yunus of Grameen Bank said, either you have it or you dont have it.
Why only in airports?
