i watch cable most of the time; the overseas channel have the best stuff.
watch ch8 occasionally.

the government is in cahoots with the mda and mediacorp, creating propagandic dramas on channel 8 and channel u.
some examples include the potrait crap (where the family sells fishballs), holland v (sells nasi lemak) and double happiness (sells fish and chips). these dramas promote the F&B (food and beverage) industry, which is one of the government's aim, that more singaporeans take F&B business up for a living.
another significant example is the NKF dramas, where they have a very tetchy story about a few kids and adults in singapore getting various diseases and not losing hope blah blah blah... these aim at getting more donations (to go to ppl like tt durai instead of the needy ones)
Currently, they're creating dramas trying to promote happy-family crap and make s'poreans sympathise with foreigners (to make them accept those foreign "talents" who steal jobs larr).

i want to ask how to watch other country tv shows that is not on cable tv and mediacorp like hong kong dramas, japan sentai show and taiwan vartiey show at the same pace wif them

online tv.. not the youtube kind, but those where you pay to suscribe to various international channels, which is streamed to your computer... rather popular in japan, where broadband speeds are astronomical.
