Old woman at hougang mall selling tissue and 4D

she (with a hunch back) had been around for quite some time. Walk to foodcourt, mac, kfc , gelara selling but no one buy...
Few year back she still can talk and sell., now she never talk, just knock on tables... i wander why. See already feel so sad...
Those who see or known her, please buy some tissue from her ba....

I would usually give these poor people some cash to get a drink or get a decent meal without taking the tissue unless they insist. -

Yes they are pitiful, which is all the more we should be respectful to them and pay accordingly. No paying more or less. They are working for it and we should help them earn their keep.

The old man was previously sitting outside Hougang Mall, next to MacDonald before the take-over of management of Hougang Mall. The old lady is also present around the same time as the man, but recently she seems to be quieter, maybe age is catching up.
Sometimes I'll buy from her, but not all the times cause I already carry 2 packet of tissue in my pocket, no space for more and she doesn't like people to give her the money without taking the tissue.
In the night she'll go to MacDonald or KFC to change her coins to notes, on average about $30 - $40 of loose changes I think. -

the old aunty selling tissues? My friends and I drove her from puggol nasi lemak to hougang plaza. She told us she stays there, but actually she went there to continue her "business" again. She's indeed very pitiful... So try to help if you can afford to.. We might never know what we will be like in the future. So help one another peeps. Cheers

For the 4D tickets, she can simply buy them from Singapore Pools, over the counter. Note that she sells them at $1 higher than the sum betted with -
If it is genuine case, we shoould all help.... but just a warning.... do not buy such 4D tickets... months ago there was a case of old people selling 4D tickets.. when the number come out, they go police station and claimed they lost the ticket.. whoever then tries to claim prize will be prosecuted...
Monks can only ask for food.. do not give them money!!!!!! So if they come to you in a hawker centre and put their bowl in front of you, kindly pick a piece of toufu/vege and put it in!
I was at Marina South (you know all the BBQ buffet area) when a young man about 17-18 came to sell tissue. He spoke with a "big tongue" manner, and acted retarded, calling people "Gor gor jie jie"... act as if his IQ only 50. THen his hand phone rang... he picked up his call and spoke in perfect mandarin cum hokkien.. -
