There's no full sincerity in this society let me tell you all this.
It's better than nothing if a company apologizes because at the end of the day they also want their reputation to stay where it is. Many of them are afraid that sincere apologies like what you guys have mentioned and editted might spoil their image. So they try to moderate the apology to make it sound not so apologetic.
And since there're minor selfishness in this case according to company's regulations, why don't our people be a little more gracious instead? Let the love flow manz! Make love, not war citizens of red dot!

i think the one on wheelchair who challenged them is from sgforums ... he said in the other older candy empire thread and he's on wheelchair and will go down and see if they willl stop him from entering.
