  Does drinking a glass of salt water help to recover (a bit?) of voice?
  
  or is there any ways to recover a bit of voice?
  i know one way is by drinking honey... it really helps..

  or i read on the net somewhere... gargle cayenne powder... its some sort of chilli powder... mix a bit of it with warm water and gargle. google "throat" and "cayenne water"

  There's this lozenge called "jin sang zi" or something. Gold package, got some ah pek picture on it. Apparently very good for the throat.

  No use meh. I ate 2 packets of cheezels yesterday and woke up with a sore throat today. Swallowed 2 tablespoon of pi pa gao and before going to bed swallowed another 2 tablespoon then okay already leh..

  AFAIK,
  
  Gargling salt water is great for soar throats
  
  Drinking salt water helps with diarrhoea.
  
  As for the singing, god knows best.

  drink lots of water is the best, last time shout, sing too much and sore throat drink lots of water helps. i drank cold water

  old bar trick. one tsp of salt. top up w soda n tonic.
  
  drink bout 3 glasses a day. it works...
