
US President George W. Bush arrived in Singapore Thursday on the first leg of a week-long Asia visit to promote democratic reforms and deepen US security and trade ties with the region.
Bush's presidential Air Force One airplane touched down around 7:15 am (2315 GMT), kicking off a two-day stay here before he goes to an Asia-Pacific summit in Vietnam and then heads to Indonesia
