Youngest legal age for marriage?

I would like to know what is the youngest legal age of a girl to be married? Is it true the girl can be as young as 14 to be married?

It state in rom.gov.sg, one can marry a minor. And it include no further details. Minor is below 18 years old, is there anyone with sufficient knowledge to know what is the youngest possible age of the girl?

In Singapore. Under 21 must seek parental consent.

"Age of consent for marriage
The legal age of consent for marriage is eighteen (18 ) for female and male persons.
Avoidance of marriages where either paty is under miunimum age for marriage
Section 9. A marriage solemnized in Singapore or elsewhere between persons either of whom is below the age of 18 years shall be void unless the solemnization of the marriage was authorised by a special marriage licence granted by the Minister under section 21. [26/80]" -

16 years old confirm can provided with both parent's consent and need to apply special marriage license from mcds... under 16 i don't know but i think the guy will kenna charged first if he has sex with underaged. LOL

"Minimum age for marriage 88. The Women's Charter governs civil marriages in Singapore. The minimum legal age of marriage in Singapore is 18 years with parental consent. A person below 18 years of age wishing to get married has to apply for a Special Marriage Licence from the Minister of Community Development and Sports before he/she can marry. Any person above 18 years but below 21 years of age is required to furnish his/her parent's/guardian's written consent for marriage " -

as far as I know need to obtain special marriage license, and need to have 4 witnesses (above 21 years old) excluding her parents. and plus her parents' consent needed, total 6 persons is needed to be present at the ROMOriginally posted by Fire Star:It state in rom.gov.sg, one can marry a minor.
