from Penang for the past week. Just came back yesterday nite.
How's everyone?
Penang's very hilly and have many good food.
nice scenaries, but rained there almost every evenings.

corolla engine broke down 5times a day.

no buy souvenirs for us...

no time wor....its for work....
quite rush also...but managed to get some clothes like one jeans, 2 t-shirts and 1 polo.
+ some foodstuffs for my family and office people.

security there is alright....there are many food stalls open until late hours like 1am.
Shopping is soso, got some large shopping complexes.
No pics...sorry, cuz never bring my camera along loh...

hohoho....yup, got the chance to try their Penang laksa....
there got the malay version and the chinese version, all very different taste cuz their soup base and ingredients are different.
Me tried the standard one.....very nice and CHEAP!

then you can see the prata special where its so long that they have to put 3 plates together to rest the long prata.
yup...food is between 3-4 RM to 10+ RM, depends where you buy or eat.
Dun go shops eat as its always more expensive. Go to those road side stalls, many many varieties and cheap and taste very good!

I think the market there spoilt by us liao just like JB where one bowl of noodle can cost over RM$5 -

So, how much you spend on the trip..... how bout where to stay. I just need a place where the toilet and beds are clean. i was on working trip so not much time...
if you go there, you can visit the Penang Hill, BJ complex, Georgetown (their capital and lots of shopping), bars, clubs, pasar malams, the snake temple, etc...
and then go to langkawi (very near only) for additional 1-2 days there.
Will be a good trip if you go there for 3-4 days can already. -

and different brands...mostly clorets brand. There they sell 80cents 1 pack (5 strips)....if you buy 10 packs, you can bargain to 6RM. -
