why are you looking at the size and weight?
shouldnt it be the specs that you are supposed to look at? -
LCD i recommend those with 12".. the weight for those range shld be around the same. prices too, depending on brand.
unless the user needs it heavily for graphics or media design.. -

Weight is damn important. I'm carrying a 3kg without batteries and it is killing me! Have to endure for another 2 to 3 years before I can change another one...
So better choose one which is light! -
i used to carry a 12'' but really too small, noww mine is 15.4'' about 2.4kg

mine is 14.1 inches .. and weights around 2kg w/o adapter.. with is around 2.5kg... depending on ur usagee

I lug around with a 3 kg lappy.
No problems anyhow.
