Anyone worked at Pastamania before?
How's the hourly pay like? -
ask them yourself loh.. as if they will eat u when u approach them..

I applied the job through TBC.
Some told me that the pay is initially $5.50 per hour.
But I heard that it's because I applied the job through TBC, that's why they are paying me $4.50 per hour.
So yea, just wanna know how's the original pay like. -
i think is 4.50.. TBC recruit company ah?

I didn't know it's a recruit company until today, when the person actually explained to us.
Haha. I thought the person was just being nice when he offered us the job.
So...they earn commissions by taking some money off the original pay, is it? -

We went and the person made a note on the application forms, indicating that we are hired through TBC.
But yea, now it's the pay problem lah.

Is there any way to "salvage" the situation?
If not, then too bad, I guess.

If you're working less than 1 month, you won't see differences cause for Temp Position, they'll earn $1/hr you've worked for the whole month.

but then you gave me this evil idea of applying for a job. next time got an employment agency offering you a job, ask the pay and company plus its location. dont take up the job through the agent but neither do you reject it first(say you consider first). go directly to the company apply for it saying you heard of the job from a friend. if successful you get to earn the pay without the agent earning a share of it.

Then we MUST work during Christmas eve, Christmas, New Year eve and New Year.
And every month, must work at least 120 hours.
Big difference leh, the salary.
