Vivocity all hype?

  Vivocity has been opened for 3 weeks liao.
  
  Heard from a number of friends, it is just OK...
  
  What is your opinion? Is it a hype?
  
  Will you be going there often as in at least once a month?

  I treat it as a workout...Cos the place is so big that they need more security guards then any other shopping centres....wah wah i ask myself this question........hpw much is their bill for electricity a month..wonder can support how many families bills...maybe pay for one block of flat the whole year using their one month electricity bill....

  There's an mrt station just opposite and the bus stops are just in front. Quite easy to get there.
  
  There's nothing much to see imo. But there's a shop where the ladies' clothes with quite reasonable prices.

  Well I don't think it's overhyped. Although it's just another shopping centre and a big one at that, it's still the first shopping mall outside of the city area with medium-end boutiques, and offers much more variety than your average suburban mall. Restaurants there are a bit on the expensive side though.
  
  And it's still the first mall to have such a large proportion of non-retail spaces for hanging around, and I thought that's a really successful public space.
