what is bangala ??

  I thought Bangla and Bengali are two different ppl from different parts of India.
  
  I thought Banglas are usually construction workers etc and are dark-skinned whereas Bengalis are fair Indians from India. Am I wrong??

  Bengali is probably the hokkien term for them la... Is it? or is it Ke Leng Kia? Not too sure either.
